Art Waldenville

Art has been a Pre-Engineering Instructor at MNTC for 8 years, and holds 7 PLTW engineering certifications. He taught AP Physics, Chemistry, and Geology at Norman North and Norman High Schools prior to joining MNTC. In addition, he was also an Adjunct Physics Professor at Rose State College. Prior to becoming an educator, Art was a successful petroleum geologist in Oklahoma for 12 years. Art won the lottery when he married his high school sweetheart, Libby. They have 2 sons, Bryan, and Scott, and are blessed with 2 grandchildren. He enjoys traveling, hunting, archery, and his Church. Art serves on the FRC Oklahoma Regional Planning Committee, and won the Oklahoma Regional Woody Flowers Award in 2011.

Jason Rausch

Jason was the founding instructor for MNTC’s Pre-Engineering program, and Team 1742. During his 8 year tenure at MNTC, he built the Pre-Engineering program and Team 1742 into a flagship model for all of Oklahoma. Jason holds certifications for 7 PLTW engineering classes, as well as being a Master Teacher for Engineering Design and Development. Prior to joining MNTC, Jason was a very successful AP Chemistry and AP Physics teacher at Yukon High School. Currently, Jason is the Associate Director of Curriculum and Instruction for the Project Lead the Way, where he is course manager for Digital Electronics and Engineering Design and Development. He also continues to be an Adjunct Professor at the University of Oklahoma’s College of Engineering. Jason out-kicked his coverage when he married his college sweetheart, Erin. He enjoys travelling, photography, and sailing, among other interests. Jason’s positive impact on the Pre-Engineering program, Team 1742, and his students cannot be overstated, and all of us are grateful for his continuing support, influence, and mentoring for Shockwave.
